My skin has a lot of damage from years in the sun. I try and take good care of it now to protect it from any more damage from the harsh California rays. Getting outdoors without worry just got easier with an awesome mineral sunscreen that is natural and vegan. I was happy to give this new formula from Block Island Skincare a try.
Block Island Organics is a company that has dedicated themselves to creating natural skincare and the natural mineral sunscreen is just one of their products. I love that it comes in an easy to use tube. The formula offers all natural ingredients that is chemical free. So you get no parabens, sulfates, dyes or artificial scents. It comes in an SPF 30 so it is perfect for adults and children.
I spend a lot of time in the pool over the summer and while I do go in when it is mostly shaded, my face still gets some sun. This sunscreen has become a staple for me. Even though it is not waterproof, I am usually doing water aerobics so my face is not under the water. It is a great option and works well for me. Plus I can use it under makeup too! I love the fact that this product takes just a tiny bit to cover large areas of skin. That is a big cost savings. And it absorbs immediately with no greasy leftover skin!
Whenever I head outdoors, be it for yard work or to sit and grab some Vitamin D, this sunscreen has been the one I have been reaching for over and over. I love the way it it works and I do not have to worry about putting chemicals on my skin!

I have never heard of,the Block Island Skincare brand before your review. I t sounds like a great sunscreen to use and I may give it a try.
I don’t know this brand, but I’m interested. More and more we are learning about chemicals and harsh products. We put sunscreen all over our bodies and our kids. It’s important that it is strong enough to work and safe to use. Sounds like this is a good combination.

I grew up in the 70s, before we knew a thing about the dangers of too much sun. We actually oiled up & laid out in the sun. I remember actually wanting to get a slight sunburn because it would turn to tan, lol. We were nuts.
