Using DVD’s is easy and the best part is you can workout anytime and anywhere. I love Leslie’s workouts and this new one is not just walking, but adds some toning circuits too. I took it with me to review on a trip and it helped me stay on track with my weight loss program.

It’s a total of 60 powerful minutes, but you can mix up the workouts anyway you like. Work the arms and do a fast walk one day. Work the legs and fast walk another day. Do the Fast Walk alone. The workout segments all work together for your fitness and weight loss goals!

My Thoughts: In the traditional Leslie workout, this is broken into 3 segments so you can work on what you want to. You can do upper body one day, lower body another day, and hit the walk a different day. Or do them all! I love that you can use weights on this. I have been working with weights lately and just love the results. This DVD offers some great toning exercises that are easy to follow and effective too.
The lower body workout does include lunges and squats but if you can’t do those you can modify by just walking throughor doing modified movements as best you can. I believe if you are moving it, you are doing better than nothing.
This DVD only offers one section of actual walking like her other DVD’s. But I enjoyed the toning exercises she offers here. A few of the exercises were a challenge, but I was okay with that. I did miss the cool down phase she normally offers so make sure to do a warm up and cool down on your own.
Overall, I liked the different options she brings to the table with this new release. But if you are looking for a straight walking DVD, this one is not for you. If you want to combine walking with toning circuits, this is a good one to try!
