I received one of these new step stools and absolutely love it! Six years ago we purchased an older home which we finally moved into it 2 1/2 years ago. Since that time…we’ve been going room to room and remodeling it. I am talking about completely gutting each room and replacing floors, walls, doors, windows, lighting fixture…the entire ball of wax!
In the past I would have to pester my husband to bring in his heavy step ladder for me to use when I needed to reach higher areas. Not only is his ladder heavy…but it’s bulky and cumbersome for me to haul around. It’s a real pain in the butt for me to use!

I have a small stool in my kitchen that I use all the time. It helps me reach the top shelves in the cabinets, but I also use it when I have to change the batteries in the smoke alarms, or pretty much any time I need to be taller. I’d love to have a small step ladder, though; it would be safer, for one thing, and that second step would come in handy, for sure.
I agree that a good step ladder is so important. I too need a lighter weight step ladder and I Like that this one has the mar resistant feet and folds down easily.
Great price. I like having one outside and another one inside to make it easy to get to. So much safer than standing on a chair.
I like this a lot. We live in an apartment, but there are always light bulbs, etc, to be reached. It seems light enough for me to use, and most imporatntly, sturdy and safe, too. And how can you beat a $16 starting price? It sounds perfect for my needs.
We sure need a new one of these and I love the price that these start at.
