Dad’s Day Delight Cocktail Recipe

Fathers Day is coming up this month and now is a great time to start thinking about spoiling him just a bit. Some fun activities, a special remembrance, a great meal, even a delicious cocktail to wind down the day can make him feel the love. Brought to us by Barefoot Wines, here is a recipe that looks refreshing and tasty!
Dads Day Delight Cocktail Recipe

Dad’s Day Delight Cocktail

Ingredients:

3 ounces Barefoot Bubbly Brut Cuvee
½ ounce Bourbon or Whiskey
½ ounce Pure Maple Syrup
1/8 ounce Lemon Juice
1 ounce Ginger Ale

Directions: Combine bourbon or whiskey, syrup and juice in rocks glass over fresh ice. Top with Barefoot Bubbly Brut and ginger ale. Garnish with lemon.

    This sounds like a wonderful combination of flavors. I never thought about adding ample syrup to a cocktail. Although I have used it with alcohol in a marinade.

    I love the flavor of maple but don’t drink so I’ll have to include it in a non alcoholic beverage. The lemon looks so pretty in the glass.

    Maple flavored whiskey is wonderful, but I hadn’t thought about putting maple syrup in a cocktail before. I bet it really richens the flavor and is cut nicely with the ginger ale. What Father’s Day is complete without the perfect drink. 🙂
