Family Game Night Fun – Schwinn Biking Board Game

I consider myself a huge bicycle enthusiast. I happen to have several family members who are as well. I can remember all the great moments throughout my childhood about riding my bike and learning about it, to maintain it. Even to this day, I enjoy riding my bicycle when I can. I am also a board game enthusiast, I always try and love to have a family game night once a week, at the very least. I’m lucky to have several family members who find board games fun also. Once I heard that my love of cycling and board games had been combined to create Schwinn, The Biking Game, I was ecstatic, and could not wait to review it!

Family Game Night Fun - The Schwinn Biking Board Game

Looking at the pieces and cards, at first I thought it may have been a little complex. But after trying it out for only a few minutes, it was so exciting to try to ‘race’ to the finish line by answering some questions. The pieces were cardboard photos of different Schwinn bicycles, which were used to keep our spots on the board.

I am so glad that Schwinn The Biking Game has four levels of questions for advancing. This allows people of all ages to play (Ages 4 and up, with 2-8 players). My niece and nephew did fairly well in their beginner levels, while my sister and her husband did fantastic in the much harder advanced levels.

The Schwinn Biking Board Game setup

I loved that there was a Fun Facts deck of cards, it’s great to learn something new each time. There are also a lot of bike safety tips which are great for everyone to know and keep in mind. Great memories are brought up for the cards that ask to share pastimes with a bicycle; it made me feel like a kid again!

Schwinn’s The Biking Game was very entertaining–after someone won, another would say, “Race you home again!” This board game has been a great addition to game night. It has even been a wonderful reminder for us to get out and enjoy some riding on our bicycles… with perhaps a fun race home as well!Ruby Tag
