The Shell Seekers by Rosamunde Pilcher Book Review
I have been a voracious reader ever since I learned to read. My mother loved to read as well and going to the library was always something on our list weekly or even twice a week. The love of reading a great book is something that truly touches you and I remember this book well. It is considered a classic in terms of the longevity of a book and this one never gets old. I was excited to learn that it is being republished in paperback and I was thrilled to receive a copy.

My Thoughts: When I think of a classic read, I think of an amazing wordsmith that understands how to put words together that truly convey an amazing message and a story that you can get lost in. Reading the same book over and over never tires and is a mark of a true creative soul. That is what I think of when I think of this book.
One for women (and men) everywhere, this author knows how to tell a deep and touching story. It pulls you in and you cannot help but feel connected to the characters and story. You feel like you are right there with them. It is beautiful and touching.
Be prepared to read captivating words and prose unlike we are used to now in the days of digital. This book is written with grace and depth that you have to experience. This author is remarkable to me.
How can you really review an authors work that is a master at creating art with words? You don’t. You just hope that you can convey enough likability for someone to pick this up and experience it for yourself. For me it was refreshing to be able to read this classic again. It is one that will stay with me for a long time – at least until I read it again!
