JOLLY TIME Pop Corn Family Pledge and Unplug, Pop and Connect

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of JOLLY TIME Pop Corn. All opinions are 100% mine.

When I was a little girl my mother always planned one night a week as our family night. We would watch a movie or play a board game and enjoy popcorn & other tasty treats. My brother and I always looked forward to those family nights and my mother always made them super fun for all of us.

After my daughter came into our lives…my husband and I continued with that weekly family night tradition. One week we would hold a family movie night and the following week would be family game night. That continued for 15 years until our daughter moved out on her own.

Now that we are grandparents to a 6 year old little girl…we’ve started the family night tradition all over again. Every other weekend the Princess comes over and we have our family night with her. It is so much fun to continue these family traditions and it’s a great way to stay bonded with the family.

JOLLY TIME POP CORN has been around for over 100+ years! They offer a variety of traditional, microwave and ready-to-eat popcorn products in grocery stores nationwide and around the world. They manufacture the ONLY microwave and ready-to-eat popcorn that has been endorsed by Weight Watchers.

Right now JOLLY TIME Pop Corn would like to invite your family to take the pledge to Unplug. Pop. Connect. The concept is a simply one but very important because we all lead very busy lives and often forget to turn off those electronics and spend quality time with our family.

They are challenging you all to turn off the TV, video games, the computer and other electronic forms of entertainment and to pop your favorite JOLLY TIME Pop Corn and sit down for a board game, card game or get the entire family together for some puzzle building time!

Just last weekend we had the Princess over for another family game night and we popped our favorite microwave popcorn and all played a few rounds of cards. After we were done with that, we headed outside to catch fireflies together which she thoroughly enjoyed. We had a great family date!

Head on over to the Unplug Pop Connect section on the JOLLY TIME Pop Corn web site and take the pledge and learn more about it Share your family pledges in order to receive a high value coupon or possibly win a prize package! Tons of fun! You can also check out JOLLY TIME Pop Corn on Facebook.

  1. Jo-Ann Brightman says

When the family gets together we often spend a night playing aboard game. It is so important to unplug and spend time together.

  2. We didn’t have a designated night, but we would have popcorn & play cribbage or other games very often. (no electronics 50 years ago to get in the way)

  3. I grew up with snacking on popcorn weekly. I think it was my dad’s favorite snack and he made it himself, but with lots of oil. I prefer air popped and also love the Jolly brand. Good message they are marketing too.
