If you were headed to a deserted island what one cosmetic item would you take with you? For me, hands-down it would be a good mascara! I can (if forced) live without all other cosmetics except for mascara!
With that said, not all mascaras are created equally. There are some that clump, others that tug at your delicate eyelashes and others that can cause eye burning. Nope, they definitely are not all the same!
Recently I had the chance to try out the new RIMMEL LONDON Wonder’lash Mascara with Argan Oil in Black Noir. This is a waterproof mascara that gives your lashes clump-free volume.

I received this new RIMMEL LONDON Wonder’lash Mascara with Argan Oil a few weeks ago and now that I’ve tried it…I will never be without it! As a woman who is 47 years old, I need all of the volume I can get with my eyelashes and this mascara gives it to me!
It has more of a straight brush which I really like and the little bristles are set closely together which stops all of the clumping. When I apply it, it just glides through my lashes and leaves behind a nice coat of mascara! During the day, I put on one coat and if I am going out for the evening, I will layer on two. I get plenty of coverage and it will last all day long without smearing or running underneath my eyes. It has staying power!
Finally, it is indeed waterproof. However, I found that I could easily remove it with plain soap and water. I didn’t need any harsh chemical eye make-up removers at all and that really impressed me too! This one is a real winner!!!

This sounds like a great waterproof mascara for the Summer time. I like the brush type too. It would help reduce clumping. Thanks for the information & review. 🙂
I have yet to find a mascara that my eyes will tolerate.
I like Rimmel’s mascara a lot. Aside from the Argan Oil, I lprefer the straight brush. The thing now seems to be to make the brush as complicated at possible (marketing ploy?) but a good stright brush works best for me.
I love Argan oil , but I never thought about having it in mascara. I am glad that this work so well and now I may try it.
This is my daughter’s thing, too. She loves mascara! Argan oil is used in so many products now, but I hadn’t realized mascara. That does sound conditioning.
I don’t wear mascara anymore but I’m blessed with nice long dark lashes. As a blonde, I don’t know how that happened! (must be good genes, lol)
