My German Shepherd puppy (actually a 7-year old), Blue, is an extremely picky eater. His foods, his treats, even his water bowls have to be specific to his tastes. He’s so silly, but he’s my ‘fur-baby’, so I do what I can to see that he has a happy and healthy life. I had the pleasure be able to review a new type of healthy dog treat from New Health Pet Products. Well, technically, Blue had the pleasure of reviewing the dog treats!
We were sent a bag of the New Healthy Pet Chicken & Apple Jerky treats. They smelled good enough to eat, even for me… but I let Blue be the tester. It was so funny to see him devour it, because that is unlike him. He usually has to sniff and lick a treat every time before he eats it. He only did that with the very first treat, and wanted more immediately! He didn’t bother to stop and inspect the second and third treats! They were dehydrated apple slices with bits of chicken on them. From what I saw was that they were soft and tender and had a slight crisp to them, so he could easily chew. That’s if he chewed them at all. I’m fairly certain that he inhaled these treats!
New Health Pet Products also offers other flavors: Chicken Breast Cuts, Sweet Potato Chews, Chicken & Sweet Potato Jerky, and Turkey & Sweet Potato Jerky.
