Father’s Day is just around the corner and wow…this would make a great gift for Dad or any fitness buff on your gift-giving list. Recently my husband who is trying to drop 50 lbs. and get into shape received the MaxiClimber system to review for all of you. Here is some information about it.
The MaxiClimber engages all major muscle groups to burn calories and build muscle, utilizing the same movements as rock climbing. The easy-to-setup vertical climber is a total body workout that can help you sculpt lean, sexy legs, rock-hard abs and toned, and strong triceps and biceps. By using your own body weight as resistance, MaxiClimber gives a great cardio and strength training workout without putting stress on the lower joints of your body.
The MaxiClimber is super easy to assemble (he had it assembled in 5 minutes) and is super easy to use. When not in use…fold it up and store it against a wall or in a closet. Gotta love it’s space-saving design.
Now you can burn more calories, strengthen your muscles and increase your endurance all while getting into shape with the help of the MaxiClimber! Once you have it assembled, you can immediately get started with your workout. My husband loves that it’s portable and during nice weather days he takes it outside and uses it on our covered front porch. On rainy days, he sets it up in our family room.
This fitness gym is for all fitness levels. You can start out slow and easy and then work your way up to a harder and longer workout session. Hubby loves the non-slip handle grips, the size of the foot pedals and he especially loves the digital calorie counter & step counter that come along with the gym for free.
When you visit the MaxiClimber web site you can watch a short video that shows you how this personal gym works and how it mimics the moves used in traditional rock climbing. My husband said it gives you an intense all-over body workout and you don’t have to leave home to do it! Furthermore, you don’t have to join an expensive gym or pay for daycare for the kids. You do this in the comfort of your own home.
If you worked out on a treadmill for one hour you would burn approximately 250 calories. If you worked out on an exercise bike for an hour you would burn 330 calories. However…if you work out on the MaxiClimber for one hour you would burn 500 calories! If you are limited on time and want a good calorie burn, this is the way to go!
Hubby has been working out on the MaxiClimber two to three times per week for the past three weeks and absolutely loves it! He can workout any time of the day which fits around his busy work schedule. As his wife, I love that it doesn’t take up a lot of space and can be store in our coat closet when not in use.
You can learn more by visiting MaxiClimber online.
In a few months I will do another blog post here on the TwoClassyChics blog to let you know how hubby’s new workout is coming along. He said if you are really looking to burn some calories fast…you should give the MaxiClimber a try.

I hope that this Maxi Climber will work out for your husband . I like that there is a free trial and that it can be easily assembled and easily stored away
Nice that there is a free trial available to see how it would work. I have never tried one but think it is a good concept.
I am looking for a good workout too, that is non-impact. And because we don’t have a family room or a porch, or really any extra space (an apartment!), I love the way that the MaxiClimber doesn’t take up much room – and that you can just stick it in the closet when not in use. This is something I need to look into, not just for me, but for my brother, too.
We could use this! I would be afraid we would end up using it to hang clothes on, though.
I’ve seen these at the gym but have never tried them. It’s nice he can use it outside and get some fresh air at the same time. Good luck to him on the weight loss and do post his progress in a few months.
