Unlike most women, I don’t have a signature scent. Why you might ask? Well, I would get bored with it, it’s as simple as that! I am the type of girl who likes to use a wide variety of different fragrances depending on my mood and the occasion.
Recently I was introduced to the luxury perfume brand, ILARY and was super excited to try out this fragrance for all of you. One of the things I immediately liked about it is the sleek packaging. It takes up very little space on your vanity tray, medicine cabinet, travel bag or purse.
ILARY is packaged in a glass roll-on perfume bottle that looks very elegant. When it’s shipped to you it will arrive in a heavy-duty cardboard tubing and if you are gifting it…it comes with a little gold metallic drawstring bag which you can slip it into. If you are like me and do a lot of traveling, I do suggest that you keep the little cardboard tubing and when you travel, pack your roll-on bottle inside it to protect it. We all know that airport luggage handlers can be pretty rough!
Let’s talk about the fragrance itself. If I had to describe it…it’s a fresh and clean herbal scent. There is nothing over-powering with it at all. Furthermore, a little dab on all of your pulse-points goes a very long way and it has staying power!
While I absolutely LOVE this fragrance the real test is seeing what my husband thought about it. He is pretty picky and doesn’t like me smelling like a big old rose bush or a citrus orchard! So, we went out a few nights ago to dinner for our date night and repeatedly he kept complimenting me on my new perfume. Yup, it passed the hubby sniff test and he enjoyed it too!
I think the ILARY fragrance is classic, timeless and ageless. My daughter is 29 years old, my mother is 65 years old and I am 46 years old. All three of us thought it was a really beautiful scent!

I too,do not have one perfume and this perfume sounds wonderful .
I’ve never tried this one. I’ve used Shalimar for over 30 years, lol. But I like that this one is not overpowering, because that is one of my big fears when I try a new perfume!
Some of us are very sensitive to scents. It really bothers me when people (men are guilty too) wear too much perfume/cologne. I like scents that are light and smell clean.
I am a hard-core perfume junkie. I haven’t been able to find any 12-step programs for Perfumistas Anonymous, so I just go with my habit and indulge. Sounds like ILARY will be my next buy! (After all, there are worse addictions, right?)
I make my own perfumes with essential oils. I like knowing what’s in my perfume.
