Minimal FlipFlops Offer Comfort and Support

Ever since I was a child, I have spent more time barefoot than in shoes, it seems. I remember going entire summers with no shoes on. I would run across rocks, ride bikes, play ball, even climb trees without shoes. Now as an adult, I still go barefoot a lot, especially around the house. But I also find the comfort in a great pair of flipflops and now wear them exclusively, except when I have to go to work or business meetings.

I am pretty spoiled in my flipflop choices and comfort is key. I do not like a lot of bounce and I love it when they conform to my feet for the perfect fit. Personally, I do not think you can ever have too many pairs that are broken in perfectly, especially living in California where I can get away with wearing flipflops most of they year.

I was excited to hear about a company that creates a minimalist style of flip flop that offers a straightforward approach to footwear. Like yoga pants for your feet, the soft contoured footbed from the Terrikelly flip flops follows the lines of your feet and includes a simple arch support. Sounds like it is just what I love.

The great thing about these shoes that I love the most is the tread. Instead of a smooth bottom, it has a great tread that will allow you to wear these any where!! The footbed is super soft and I love the thin strap. Plus they mold and conform nicely. The shoes becomes a part of your foot which makes them so nice to wear. I also really love the support. These offer just enough in the arch area to make them so comfortable to wear for extended periods.

Terrikelly has these beauties in 3 different colors – black, brown, and green. They say that the shoe runs small so I ordered up, however, I wish I hadn’t. The toe area is too long for my foot and I have to be careful when I walk that I am not tripping. It could be that the toe area is slightly pointy and my foot is not shaped that way. But these may be a perfect fit for you. Regardless, the minimalist style and easy comfort outweighs that fit issue for me.
