Purex Crystals ScentSplash In-Wash Fragrance Booster

April 6, 2015 by Shelly

Purex Crystals ScentSplash In-Wash Fragrance BoosterNew Purex Crystals ScentSplash in-wash fragrance booster is hitting your local retail store shelves. This new product infuses your clothes with the power of liquid freshness. Simply add a little or a lot directly into your washer.

This new fragrance product is currently available in 3 scents:

* Fresh Spring Waters – Wade into cool, enchanting waters and give your laundry an incredible just-washed freshness that lasts for months.

* Fresh Lavender Blossom – Wander through colorful, sun-lit fields of lavender and give your laundry an incredible just-washed freshness that lasts for months.

* Fresh Mountain Breeze – Capture the exhilarating moment of a crisp, fresh breeze and give your laundry an incredible just-washed freshness that lasts for months.

Purex Crystals ScentSplash In-Wash Fragrance Booster

As a member of the Purex Insiders Club, I received a bottle of the Purex Crystals ScentSplash in-wash fragrance booster in the Fresh Spring Waters scent to try out for all of you. If you have never used any of the Purex Crystals products before, I highly recommend that you give them a try.

To use this product you simply measure out the amount that you need. You can use a little or a lot and personally, I use a lot! Why? Well, the nice weather is finally here and my family has been spending a lot of time outdoors. I’ve noticed the past few weeks that the “stink factor” with our clothing has increased! Seriously, I now smell a lot of dirt, grass, sweat, mold and other nasty odors while I am doing the family’s wash!

As your washer is filling up with water, I like to add one and a half caps of the Purex Crystals into my wash load. This product is safe for all clothing types and you can use it with any water temperature. This is a “LIQUID” product unlike the other Purex Crystals products. So, if you weren’t crazy about the crystals, you definitely want to try it out in liquid form.

The fragrance is very light, clean and airy. It reminds me of taking a walk near the lake right after a spring shower has went through. Crisp and clean!

Purex Crystals ScentSplash In-Wash Fragrance Booster

To put it to the test, I tested it out on three different loads of my family’s laundry. (1) Hubby’s stinky work uniforms (2) The bathroom linens (3) Our gardening clothes. Trust me, all these clothing items had nasty odors before I tossed them into the washing machine (especially the musty, moldy, stinky bath linens).

After they were done washing, I tossed them into the dryer with no dryer products at all (ie. dryer sheets or balls). I tumbled dry as I normally do. Once done, I got the items out and as I was folding up the laundry I really noticed how clean everything smelled. The fragrance was very pleasing to the senses and nothing smelled over-whelming at all. This is exactly how freshly laundered clothing & linens should smell!!!

For the past 1 1/2 years I’ve been using the Purex Crystals products and I have to be honest with you…while I love the products in crystal form…I do LOVE the liquid form even more!

My#1challenge when it comes to laundry comes to draw between the dirty, smelly soiled undies from my son not being bowel trained due to autism (the Pyrex really helps with the smell decrease) or spots left on clothes after washing/ drying. Not sure where that comes from.

I can’t really say that laundry is a challenge because now I have my own washer and dryer. When I had to try to do my laundry in apartment machines or the laundromat….that was a challenging nightmare.
