Every summer my family spends a lot of time in and around water. We head to the beach quite often and when we are not playing in the ocean…we are playing in the pool. We are definitely a family who loves to be in the water!
A few weeks ago we made the decision to get my little 5 1/2 year old grand daughter swimming lesson. As a parent and/or grandparent, it is important that our children learn how to swim and do so at a very early age. In my opinion, the sooner the better!
Luckily for us our local community center offers affordable swimming lessons that are taught by certified instructors. We enrolled Princess Gia in these swim classes and she has been learning a lot!
To help get her comfortable in the water we received an Original Konfidence Swim Jacket to review for all of you. These jackets come in boy and girl designs and are available in different sizes. In addition to the swim vests, the company also sells wetsuits, UV shirts, UV shorts, UV suits and other accessories.
The child Konfidence Swim Jacket is an award winning product that helps children gain confidence in the water. It features 8 removable floats allowing parents to adjust buoyancy levels as child becomes more confident in the water.
The Konfidence Jacket promotes correct swimming position helping your child achieve a face forward swimming position and is constructed of high quality, durable neoprene shell with soft Lycra/Poly interior.
One of the things we love about it is that it’s very easy to use. Within seconds you have it on/off your child and there is nothing complicated about it. Next, we love that we can adjust the buoyancy by removing a few floats as Princess Gia gets more comfortable in the water.
We’ve been using this for about 2 weeks now and already we have removed 2 floats because she is getting more confident and her swimming skills are become stronger. She loves the swim vest because it’s not a kiddie looking inflatable like the typical things out in the retail marketplace. If you ask her…she is a “big girl” now and wants “big girl” looking things! LOL
