New FABY Italian Nail Lacquer

As you all know…I am a nail polish diva! I own at least 50 different polishes at all times and I am constantly changing up the color of my nails and toes! I like all kinds of different colors and finishes.

The great folks over at FABY sent me 2 bottles of nail lacquer to review for all of you. The one shade is perfect for those of you who like nude colors and the other shade is great for those of you who like something fun & funky!

I tend to like the lighter colors when it comes to my nails so I tried out the “Sensual Touch” and was really impressed with the coverage that I got and how quickly my nails dried. Since this is a semi-nude color, I only needed to apply one coat and I got about 6 days of wear before I needed a slight touch-up. It’s a soft, barely-there color with slight rosy undertones to it. There is no high-shine or shimmer and I consider it to me a matte finish. Just lovely for that barely-there look.

During the spring and summer I like to go with fun & funky colors on my toes since I am often wearing sandals or running around in my bare feet. The “Plastic Jewels and Neon Lights” is a medium neon turquoise color with an opaque matte finish. For this one, I did need to apply 2 coats to get the coverage that I wanted which is typical for most nail lacquers. In addition, because I applied 2 coats, I got longer wear of 8-9 days before I needed a slight touch-up.

My mother didn’t want to be left out of this “pampering session” so she grabbed the turquoise color and painted her toes too! (see photo above).

Since both have an opaque matte finish…you can really have some fun with your top coats! You can use a shiny, shimmery or glittery clear top coat if you want to kick up the finish to a fun high-shine or glitter.

To finish off my review, I want to mention that neither one of these nail lacquers are stinky! Come on ladies, you know what I mean…some nail polishes have foul odors that almost gag you out when you are painting your nails. These polishes have a “barely” noticeable smell to them which I really appreciate since I am chemical sensitive.
