Easy Ways to Save on Groceries At Amazon

April 18, 2015 by Classystaff

I don’t know about you, but where I live groceries and household products have been rising in cost and have become a large chunk of our expenses each month. Because I live on a tight budget, I am always on the lookout for more ways to save in these areas since it can be adjusted a bit more easily than my electric bill.

If you are living in a large city or town, there are many more choices in stores that can give you the ability to shop around. But for those of us that live in small towns, the ability to get as cheap as possible can be tougher. That is why I am so glad that online shopping has become more and more readily available. The ability to save has just increased.

Amazon is one of my favorite market places and I want to share a tip for those of you looking for easier ways to save on groceries and household items. It is called Amazon Subscribe and Save. Check it out.

Easy Ways to Save on Groceries At Amazon

Amazon Subscribe & Save

This service allows you to choose certain items that you can subscribe to and have shipped to your home once a month. It is perfect for household and grocery items that you buy monthly like laundry soap, formula, diapers, paper products, snacks, beverages, etc. Not only do you get Amazon’s great pricing, you can also get up to 25% Off certain Subscribe & Save groceries and products too by using instant coupons that are right on the website! Just click and save more.

They then sweeten the pot by offering an additional 5% on your first subscription and 15% if you have 5 or more subscriptions delivered on the same day! (first time use). You can easily cancel and modify your subscriptions anytime too. And the best part – free shipping! That is hard to beat.

They make it easy to save and I get fast deliveries because I live not far from several of their warehouses, so it works for me! Stop by and check it out to see if it would help you save on things you buy often.

I use Amazon frequently but have never bought groceries from them. I will have to check it out and see if it makes sense for my household.

Amazon is really great with all their deals and services. You just have to know about them. Subscribing is a good way to cut down on the costs, especially with their free shipping. We use them a lot for a variety of items. Plus, you can trust them, and it’s great to be able to read reviews, too.

I used to save a lot on Amazon’s Subscribe & Save and then they started changing it so I stopped. I’m still trying to use all the tea bags I accumulated! Lots of good food on sale every week at the local stores, mostly produce, which is what I eat most. I don’t buy much processed food, which saves. This week they had 16oz jars of Planters dry roasted peanuts, low salt too, for 1.50 per jar so I stocked up for snacks. I never see them that cheap on Amazon.

I do use Subscribe & Save for a few things, but I don’t have enough subscriptions to get me to the 15% point. Every once in a while I check Amazon’s prices for things we use regularly, but I can usually get them cheaper by taking advantage of sales. I haven’t had much luck with Amazon’s coupons, though; it’s so time-consuming to search through their various deals that I sometimes just give up. But you’ve got me thinking now, and I might just spend some time there to get my subscriptions to that magic 15% off. Thanks!

I use Amazon a lot for snacks, etc., and I have noticed the subscribe & save option. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’ve been tempted.

I have found it very easy to shop on Amazon, but have not yet tried Subscribe and Save. I usually am able to get better buys with sales and coupons at my supermarkets because the two of us don’t really need to renew monthly items.

This sounds like a great deal and I would like to try out this service and have groceries sent to my house! I like shopping on Amazon because they sell items that I can not find anywhere else!

I had no idea about this until I read your post and I am sooooo checking into this! You had me at Free Shipping!! In this day and age I am all about companies that offer free shipping. I had to go to Walmart today and I felt like screaming – I hate it there! It was a Saturday afternoon, the parking lot is full and they had I think three registers open and a bunch of employees just walking around – I hate it there! I would love to use this Amazon service thank you so much for sharing this.
