I am pregnant with my second child and due in late summer of this year. Now that I am halfway through my pregnancy I am starting to “nest” and get things ready for baby Jaxon’s arrival.
When I had my first child 6 years ago I wasn’t able to breastfeed due to a severe breast infection that lasted an awful 3 months. This time around I am really looking forward to breastfeeding the new baby and having a positive bonding experience with it.
One of the things that I needed was an Allover Nursing Scarf which I received from HABA for this review. What is really cool with this nursing scarf is that you can wear it and use it a variety of different ways and it’s actually a fashion accessory that can be worn even when you are not nursing your baby.
The nursing scarf comes in a variety of different colors and I selected the chocolate brown which will go with most everything that I would be wearing. It measures 24.8″ by 47.2″ in size and is made by Lassig.
The fabrication is super soft and very light-weight. It’s breathable and hypoallergenic and 100% machine washable. The nursing cover is draped over Mother and baby during nursing or sleep sessions and provides privacy and solace any time and anywhere. The allover can be worn many different ways, including as a neck scarf, stole, bolero and cape.
There are buttons at each end of the scarf which you can fasten & unfasten very easily. They allow baby quick access for feeding and allow you to wear the scarf multitude of different ways. When it’s on your body it drapes both of you very nicely and gives you privacy while being a fashion accessory. On top of that, it feels really soft against your bare skin and washes up nicely without wrinkling.
Baby Jaxson and I will be getting a lot of use out of the Allover Nursing Scarf from HABA. I am taking maternity leave for 12 weeks and then will be taking the baby with me to work for an additional 12 weeks. This nursing scarf will give us all of the privacy that the two of us need when it comes to feeding time. I love it!

This looks super! How I wish this had been availble when I was nursing my daughter! I had to be very inventive then, and made up a homemade thing out receiving blankets stitched together here and there. It wasn’t really nice looking at all, but it covered enough of the action. I would much have preferred this this lovely and practical Allover Nursing Scarf. God bless all nursing moms and their babies!
This is such a wonderful scarf. I like how versatile it is , so that it can easily be used for decorative purposes or as a nursing scarf
This is cute and I really like it’s multi-functional. I’m not very comfortable nursing in public without being covered so this would come in very handy!
How versatile a wonderful! Breastfeeding is important, and you want to keep some privacy, too. This offers you both. I really like that it can be a scarf to just wear, too.
