If there is one thing that I hate every year it happens to be Tax Season. Yes, tax season! When it comes to getting things gathered together to file our annual taxes I literally want to vomit. It is such a time consuming process and my stress level climbs like a rocket shooting up into space. I hate it!
Unlike past seasons, we did get onto our taxes earlier than what we normally do and we hired a professional because of our big headaches with the IRS last year. Those people are incredibly rude and nasty when you have to deal with them.
How many of you file your taxes right away & early in the season? How many of you procrastinate and wait until the very last minute to get them done? Do you do them yourself or do you hire a professional to handle it for you?
I am glad this season is coming to an end soon and next year I will be ahead of the game since I now have a professional keep track of everything for me on a month-to-month basis. Hopefully in 2016 I won’t have to deal with the stress that I’ve had for the past two years.

Taxes a dreaded word. You just get through the holidays – stress and budgeting – now on to tax season stress and budgeting. My husband does ours, and he normally has them done before now but this year he just finished. He has been putting it off and my stress level grows. It’s bad because you feel like you are taxed for everything even paying taxes. You can’t claim this but if you have to claim that. Good luck to all.
I have no tips except save every reciept and everything you can. I dont mind taxes terriby bad but it gets to be a pain when receiipts arent in order!
I wish I had some tips for you, but I got nothing. Nothing but stress, that is. My spouse does our taxes, and he always waits until the last minute, even when we’re getting refunds. I don’t know why he doesn’t file earlier, but it makes me crazy. If I ask him about it, he just say he’s aware of it and has plans to get it done, making me feel like a nag and a worrywart. Meanwhile, it’s just one more thing I have no control over that stresses me out. Whew. Thanks for listening…
I start working on taxes in January but it takes me usually until March to file. I hate this time of year also and get super stressed out. Plus we have moved and also travel a lot so sometimes I fear that some of the tax documents have gone astray or are unrecognized by my daughter and therefore sitting on a pile on my kitchen table while we are many miles away.
