Zack & Quack Popping Hopping Easter DVD is perfect for your child to watch for Easter. The DVD highlights the adventures a seven-year old boy named Zack, and his best friend, an young duck named Quack. Zack is a leader who’s great at bringing out the best in the quirky, funny characters around him and there’s nobody quirkier and funnier than his best friend,Quack!
The interesting thing about the story line is that Zack and Quack live inside the most amazing pop-up book ever! It has a unique paper sculpture look, courtesy of art director Erez Gavish. The pop-up book is a place full of magical surprises. From the second Zack and Quack step out of their tree house and into their pop-up garden, an adventure begins and exciting new worlds unfold before our eyes. Every time they lift up a pop up, something magical happens.
There are five episodes on this DVD: Zack & Quack Pop-Up Circus,The Poppy-Up Flower, Popping Hopping Hiccups, The Poparang 3000 and The Pop-Up Easter Egg Hunt.
I watched The Pop-Up Easter Egg Hunt. This episode starts with Zack pulling some pop-up tabs to add decorations to their tree house. Today is one of their favorite holidays of all time, Easter! Easter means Easter eggs. Easter chocolate and, best of all, an Easter Egg Hunt!. One of the stepping stones Quack stepped on flipped open and out popped an Easter Egg with a pop-up tab. Zack pulls the tab and a note from the Easter Bunny appears informing them that there will be no Easter Egg Hunt this year. Zack knows he needs to do something, so he jumps into the hole where the letter popped out dragging a reluctant Quack along. They end up at the Easter Bunny’s and find out that there are no chocolate eggs because the Chocolate Chickens are gone. The episode continues with Zack and Quack helping the Easter Bunny try and find the Chocolate Chickens.
This TV show will be featured on Nick, Jr. beginning in the next couple of months. However, this is first time the show is on DVD and it arrives just in time to fill up those Easter Baskets. All the episodes have a great spring theme, teach an important lesson, and are lot of fun to watch.
This would be a great DVD for your child’s Easter Basket! Also checkout Guess How Much I Love You – The Adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare – Someone Special which would be an ideal DVD to round out the Easter viewing experience.
