It can be so hard to know what works well on your skin and what does not. Over the years, I have learned what to look for when choosing a face cream and for the most part I have been pretty good. I have tried many, many different products on my face. Some did not work at all while others stand out and I use them over and over again. Ingredients work differently on different people and when you find the right mixture, it is awesome. I got to try a cool product that has a secret you may want to know about.
Vine Vera is a luxury skincare brand that features a signature (and just maybe a bit secret) ingredient, Resveratrol. So what is Resveratrol, you ask? According to Vine Vera’s site:
Resveratrol is a chemical that various plants produce to fight off attackers, or to withstand lack of water or nutrients. It has been found in various foods, including fruits and nuts, as well as in the roots of Japanese knotweed…. … innumerable studies showing the health benefits of Resveratrol, especially those associated with its anti-aging effects…
This ingredient is found in many different plants, the main one being the grapevine and grapes. After much research, it is now known that this ingredient effectively blocks UV rays and is a natural sunscreen. It has powerful properties that make it superior for anti aging and in supplement form, a powerful health benefit too.
The first thing I like when I open a jar of moisturizer is to feel the texture and smell the cream. I look for a heavy cream, but not too oily. Something with a pleasingly light fragrance, not too perfumey. The Vine Vera Resveratrol Merlot Moisture Day Cream had all of those properties.
With the first application, I knew I would be pleased with the product. The cream is light yet a little goes a long way. This jar is loaded with cream that will last! The results have been great. I love the texture and feel of my skin. The product soaks quickly into my skin and is not oily at all. The lasting results have been growing with a nice reduction of small lines and wrinkles. It is a nice result lasting all day.
If you are looking for a new cream, this may be the answer. Vine Vera has a big selection of different products targeting different areas all over the face. The luxury product line may be on the steep side of pricing, but the top quality ingredients and amount of product will make it worthwhile.

I really like that the cream doesn’t smell too strong and love that it’s light. I wonder would it work during our Southern summer — a lot of heat and crazy humidity

I havent heard of this line at all before. I have used a different line that is at the drug stores and thats about it. Admittedly I am horrible about keeping up a skin routine… and it shows. I might have to look into this one.

I have never tried Vine Vera, but other beauty companies such as L’Oreal also,use Resveratrol in many of the anti aging creams. I do like that this product is not oily and worked well on you.
