Happy St. Patrick’s Day to everyone!!!
How many of you do something special on St. Patty’s Day? Do you eat a special Irish dinner, dress up wearing something green or what? I would love to hear about it!
Every year we typically have an Irish theme’d dinner with the family. I don’t get all decked out but I do have a St. Patty’s Day green t-shirt that I pull out of the drawer and wear every year. Luckily it still fits me this year! Hubby wears a gorgeous Irish-Made Aran Sweater to work every year on St. Patrick’s Day.
What a great day to let loose and to have a little fun. So, let’s hear your thoughts and traditions on this special day that only rolls around once every year!
I hope you enjoyed your St Patrick’sDay. I always make sure to wear something green and make a meal that contains cabbage and potatoes. Your husband’s Irish sweater sounds beautiful.
This year we watched a local dance group perform Irish dancing. They were so good and fun to watch.
I had a dentost apppointment on St Pattys Day I normally dont do that so it isnt a trradition or anything. I do wear green though!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you too! We usually have corned beef and cabbage but are traveling this year, spent the day driving through Texas, so we will have to wait till next year!
For me, St. Patrick’s Day is all about my mother. She was very proud of her Irish heritage, and was lucky enough to get to Ireland before her mobility became a problem for her. She loved St. Patrick’s Day, so I dress in green in her memory. And today I’m drinking my tea from her green mug.
I’m wearing a green top and wore lime green sunglasses this morning, and of course always have my green eyes 🙂
