How many of you regularly hold some type of family movie night and/or family game night? We’ve been holding them since our daughter was 5 or 6 years old, so for us, it’s been about 25 years!
Last weekend we got the family together and had a fun family and movie game night. Well, it was actually an afternoon but it still counts!
The great folks at Redbox treated us to a free DVD rental and we selected the popular “How to Train Your Dragon 2. Here is some information about that particular movie.
HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2, the next chapter to the Academy Award® nominated film released in 2010, is “sensational…an instant animated classic,” proclaims Access Hollywood. A hit with audiences and critics alike.
The all-star film talent features Jay Baruchel (This Is The End), two-time Academy Award® winner Cate Blanchett (Blue Jasmine), Gerard Butler (Olympus Has Fallen), Craig Ferguson (“The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson”), America Ferrera (“Ugly Betty”), Academy Award® nominee Jonah Hill (The Wolf of Wall Street), Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Neighbors), T.J. Miller (“Silicon Valley”) and Kristen Wiig (Bridesmaids). The film also adds the voice talent of Academy Award® nominee Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamond) and Kit Harington (“Game of Thrones”).
We had seen the movie once last year so it was really fun to get the family together and sit down and watch it all over again. While we watched the movie we munched on pizza, wings and popcorn. After we were done watching the movie we moved on to a fun game!
The 4 of us sat around and played the classic game called UNO and enjoyed some great Ring Pops from the folks over at Bazooka Candy Brands. We haven’t played UNO for a long time so it was fun to sit around on the living room floor on our bean bag chairs and play it! As usual, the hubby won both games! Sigh.
We would like to thank the generous folks at Redbox, Bazooka Candy Brands and UNO for treating us to a super fun family movie and game night! We had a blast!
