During the week I am very busy but during the weekends, it is even worse. At least 6 days I a week I am running non-stop from 5 AM to 10 PM at night. While I would love to make home-cooked meals 3 times a day, it is just not feasible with the schedule that I keep.
When I am out running around and need a good hot meal I like to turn to Sonic Drive-In who has an extensive menu and everyone in my family can find something that he or she likes. They aren’t just another fast-food burger joint on the block. Nope, they are different, at least in my honest opinion.
Let’s take a look at some of their new menu items for 2015.
Starting at only $1.29, the new Lil’ Doggies and Lil’ Chickies come available in three flavors each:
Lil’ Doggies
* Chili Cheese Lil’ Doggie™
* Classic Lil’ Doggie topped with ketchup and yellow mustard
* Baja Jalapeno & Chili Lil’ Doggie topped with chili, spicy cheese sauce and jalapenos.
Lil’ Chickies
* Classic Lil’ Chickie™ with pickles and mayo
* BBQ Lil’ Chickie with Hickory BBQ sauce and pickles
* Buffalo Lil’ Chickie with SONIC’s tangy Buffalo sauce
TOASTER Breakfast Sandwich
Available with sausage or bacon, the new French TOASTER Breakfast Sandwich is made with fluffy scrambled eggs and melty cheese sandwiched between two slices of golden French toast, creating a sweet new addition to SONIC’s popular TOASTER sandwich lineup.
We are already HUGE fans of Sonic Drive-In and were super excited that they sent us a gift card to go out and pick up their new 2015 menu items and give them a try. Since it was 11 AM here, we picked up all three, including a French TOASTER Breakfast Sandwich which I enjoyed. It was absolutely delicious and I enjoyed mine with the bacon. It was moist, flavorful and really filled me up.
The rest of the family enjoyed the new Lil’ Chickies and Lil’ Doggies that we picked up. Our grand daughter went for the classic Lil’ Doggie with just ketchup & mustard. It is the perfect size for those with little hands like your kids & grandkids. It is a size they can handle!
Hubby enjoyed the Chili Cheese Lil’ Doggie and the BBQ Lil’ Chickie. He said both were very flavorful, had a nice juicy texture and even though they are Lil’s they filled him up just fine. My adult daughter got in on the action and enjoyed the Buffalo Lil’ Chickie which she said was quite good. Matter of fact, she wanted a second one but I didn’t have any more!
When we are having a super busy day and need to grab a hot, quick bite to eat…the Sonic Drive-In is the first place we turn too. We can all find something on their menu that we like, we get fast service and everything always tastes delicious!

I’ve never been to a Sonic. If I’m ever traveling and there is a Sonic anywhere near, I would love to try the Chili Cheese Lil’ Doggie!
I remember going to Sonic as a kid. I always got the Bacon Burger with cheese, my little brother usually got the chili pie & Mom liked their Foot Longs & onion rings! Loved their burgers!
Fun and creative. I knew they had some new items like the original lil doggie, but I didn’t know about the varieties or Lil Chickies. Great! I can’t wait to try the Baja Jalapeno.
I like their limeade. I want to try the Buffalo Lil’ Chickie.
Our only Sonic moved. We loved going there because it was like an old drive up. Their coney dogs were our favorites. Wish they would come baack they had great deals!
I have never been to a SonicDriveIn and the locator showed me one about 25 miles away. The sandwiches lookquite good. Maybe when I am next in NJ.
I have only been to Sonic once and had a hamburger. It was good and I should go more often. Have not tried the new menu items but the hot dog with the jalapenos sounds great!
