Element Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga DVD

Element Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga DVDWhen you are pregnant your body goes through a lot of hormonal and physical changes. The majority of these changes we can’t control but there are a few that we can. For me personally, I am on a mission to not gain as much weight as I did with my first child.

To keep my weight gain and physical fitness under control this time around I am turning to prenatal yoga and low-impact cardio routines that I can do in the privacy of my own home. I picked up some new yoga clothing, accessories and DVDs and excited to tell you about one of those today.

Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga is a DVD from Anchor Bay Entertainment that includes strengthen, tone & relax routines for during pregnancy and after. I love that everything is on one easy-to-view DVD.

The Prenatal portion concentrates on strengthening, toning and relaxing your mind, body and spirit. The Postnatal portion concentrates on restoring your body and your energy after the baby has arrived. The entire DVD is from certified Anusara Yoga Instructor Elena Brower.

What is really cool is that both of these Yoga routines were filmed in a serene garden overlooking the Pacific Ocean. You almost feel like you are there doing your routine with the instructor. It’s inspiring and relaxing all at the same time.

Since I am in my first trimester of pregnancy I have been working on the prenatal Yoga routine. I love how one element flows nicely to the next one and this DVD is great for those of you who are just getting into Yoga. There is nothing complicated about it.

Overall, this is a really great Yoga DVD for both before, during and after pregnancy. You will definitely feel like you are accomplishing your prenatal fitness goals with it. I highly recommend this one! You can find it on Amazon or at retailers across the nation.

  1. I agree with JoAnn and have used gentle yoga DVDs like this when I was recovering from illness/injury. I have several Element DVDs and the scenery can’t be beat–a real stress reliever in itself.
