All Natural Vegan Products for Dry Sensitive Skin
I was recently introduced to a company called Naturally Me that produces all-natural, vegan products made specifically for people with dry and sensitive skin. I received two Naturally Me body care products for review—the Naturally Me All over Butter and the Naturally Me Oatmeal Lemongrass Vanilla soap—and one of their wonderfully delicious smelling Dessert Soy Candles.
Naturally Me began as a labor of love for founder, Chaundra Smith, who found herself searching for solutions for her children’s various skin issues. After trying several over-the-counter products and finding them costly and full of less than healthy and natural ingredients, she began looking for better, all-natural alternatives and with the information she found, led to the creation of her first products.
Naturally Me body care products are a great alternative to the traditional body care products that are available today. Many products claim to be natural, yet still contain synthetic ingredients. The Naturally Me products are free of animal by-products, parabens, mineral oil, petroleum and artificial fragrances.
The Naturally Me All Over Body Butter is specially formulated for dry, sensitive skin. This product is a thick and deeply penetrating unscented body butter that is 100% natural and steroid-free. The company recommends using it twice a day, which I’ve been doing. It is especially beneficial for dry skin and feels wonderfully decadent on your skin. The All Over Butter is a soothing blend of unrefined shea butter, avocado butter, aloe butter, coconut oil, sunflower oil, safflower oil, grapeseed oil and hemp seed oil.
The Naturally Me Oatmeal Lemongrass Vanilla soap is made with gluten free oatmeal and formulated to gently cleanse and nourish the skin. Sulfate and dye free, it lathers incredibly well and has an invigorating and clean scent. Some of the main ingredients in this soap are: Olive Oil, Sunflower Oil, Castor Oil, and Coconut Oil to name a few. The soaps are available in Lemongrass Oatmeal, Cinnamon Lime and Unscented (which is ideal for people with sensitive skin as well as babies). The soap is sold in a three-pack and you can mix and match however you choose.
The company also sells a line of candles, including the deliciously smelling “Granny’s Dessert Candles” Dessert Soy Candle that I reviewed. The 7-ounce candle comes in a clear jar and fills the room instantly with a delightful, sweet scent. I reviewed the Strawberry Shortcake, but there are several other equally yummy-sounding scents including Pumpkin Pie, Peach Pie and Apple Pie.
I enjoyed using all of the items that I received from Naturally Me and what I love most of all about the company is their commitment to their community. The people at Naturally Me created its Naturally Me Cares program as a part of the their commitment to giving back to the community. Through Naturally Me Cares, the company supplies body care products for homeless single moms in the company’s surrounding area and provides an annual scholarship program to single parents that attend the local community college.
All in all, these are terrific products that not only deliver on their promises, but are affordable as well.
