Natural Supplements for Hair and Skin

I recently had the opportunity to review two great products from a company called NeoCell, which is the number one collagen brand in the word and a leader in the field of nutritional science. The company is a family-owned, research oriented business committed to introducing the world to a premium quality collagen-based supplement line. I received two of the NeoCell products for review and was really looking forward to trying out both products in hopes of feeling and looking better! I haven’t been using the products very long, so it’s hard to provide a benchmark, but I will give you an overview of both products and my thoughts on each of them.

The first NeoCell product I’d like to tell you about is a supplement (in capsule form) called Keratin Hair Volumizer, which is an all-natural solution to help promote strong, lustrous, and thick, healthy hair. Many of us find that our hair can often times be dry, brittle or even thinning, which is caused by a lack of nutrients that are essential to strong and resilient hair. Keratin Hair Volumizer contains clinically proven ingredients to enhance hair strength and reduce normal hair loss. I’ve noticed that my hair feels stronger and looks fuller and those are definitely two things I’m happy about.

Some of the key ingredients in this volumizer are:

• Cynatine HNS Solubilized Keratin: this ingredient has been clinically proven to reduce hair loss from washing, improve hair strength and improve the brightness and luster of your hair.

• Hydrolyzed Super Collagen: this is a structural component of hair, skin and nail health. Super Collagen™ is a rich source of glycine, proline, alanine and hydroxyproline, which are the main constituents of collagen in the hair.

• Amla Extract: this is also known as Indian Gooseberry and has been used for centuries in Ayurvedic medicine for its anti-aging properties.

• Vitamin C: this is an antioxidant that is an important part of optimal collagen formation.

I also reviewed the Beauty Infusion Tangerine Twist drink powder. NeoCell Beauty Infusion is an all-natural solution that is gluten free and soy free, for youthful, radiant beauty that starts from the inside. Diminished collagen levels in the body can lead to loss of elasticity in the skin, thinning hair, and brittle nails. This drink mix has a zippy, tangy taste and is infused with essential nutrients that work together to strengthen hair, skin and nails, hydrate the skin, and provides antioxidant power against environmental damage, which is hard to avoid these days. It is available in two other flavors—Cranberry Splash and Appletini.

One scoop of this delicious drink mix provides:

• 6,000 MG of NeoCell collagen Type 1 and 3 for firmer, smoother skin and stronger hair and nails
• 50 MG of Hyaluronic Acid for skin hydration and renewal
• 3,000 MCG of Biotin for support of strong hair and nail growth
• Alpha Lipoic Acid and Vitamin C for protection from free radical damage and enhancement of collagen formation
