Natural Cruelty Free Vegan Skin Care Products

February 21, 2015 by Shelly

I’ve been using a wide variety of skin care products since I was 14 years old and got my first acne breakout. Over the years I’ve tried all kinds of different products from expensive ones laden with harsh chemicals to natural ones that are more gentle on the skin. At the age of 47…I know all about skin care products and what works & doesn’t work!

For me personally, I choose natural products that are cruelty free and vegan like the ones that are sold by Mad Hippie. They are your go-to source for natural face cleanser, eye & face creams, serums and other skin care products that you need.

Mad Hippie Cream Facial Cleanser

Mad Hippie sent me their Cream Cleanser to try out for all of you. This product is for normal to dry skin and contains 5 active ingredients: Jojoba, Green Tea, Macadamia oil & Orchid Extract.

What are Actives you Might Ask? Well, active ingredients are those with known antioxidant & skin rejuvenating properties. They include Orchid Extract in this product because it is rich in minerals & moisturizing compounds that help slow cellular degeneration. These compounds also allow the orchid to bloom dramatically longer than other flowers.

This is a gentle, balancing cream cleanser that removes free radicals and impurities while moisturizing & healing your skin. All of the things we need! To use the product you simply massage the cleanser into dampened skin for 20 seconds, then rinse with warm water and pat dry. You can follow with the Mad Hippie serum & face cream.

I love that the cleanser is packaged in a pump-style bottle which means less mess and less waste. A little bit is all that you need and it really gives you great cleansing coverage across your face. It is mild and doesn’t strip your skin of moisturize and I personally found no irritation at all while using the product.

Rinsing away this cleanser is quick and easy. You don’t have to scrub and scrub and it leaves behind no filmy or sticky residue at all. Furthermore, you do NOT feel your skin tightening up once cleansed. That is a huge plus in my book! I’ve been using the product for over two weeks and I am very pleased with the results that I see.

Just like you I’ve tried a lot of different skin care products and now I look for products that are natural and don’t have any harsh chemicals. Mad Hippie sounds like a great brand, I must check out their products. Thank you for sharing this review.
