Investing in Upgrades to the Home

February 5, 2015 by Classystaff

If you are a home owner, then you know how important upgrades are to a home. Over the years, things break down and the home can become dated. there are several things that I want to do to my home and the first thing started this month with a new install of carpet.
Investing in Upgrades to the Home
I have been waiting for years to get new carpet. With money tight, it took a while to save up what I needed. But I was able to find a great deal and paid for it all in cash! Three weeks later, they finally came and did the install! I am so happy with the transition. Here is the before and after pics… I had ripped out my carpet several years ago because I could not stand it any more! LOL So I was living on cement! yay

I have to say I am loving the pattern on the carpet. I wanted something different and yet neutral enough to go with anything. What do you think?

Next project, I have to get 2 trees removed…. not happy about that! Then, I am doing my kitchen back splash and cabinets. What is on your to do list??

New carpet is at the top of my list. New kitchen floor would be second.
Nice neutral color for your new carpet. Beats the heck out of cement…

I don’ t know how you could last that long with just cement. The neutral color, and simple design on your new carpe should go with any decor.

I could certainly use an upgrade to my carpet but am waiting until the grandkids are a little older. I don’t want to worry about them spilling on it.

Upgrades…some are done because you want to and some you have to. So glad you Finally have carpet. I can’t imagine living on cement, but I understand being so sick of something it just has to go. The floor looks very nice. Comfortable and durable. What color is your furniture, if you don’t mind my asking?

HI Sherry, My furniture is brown leather and looks awesome with the carpet and my wood flooring that runs along ide it. Now that the carpet is in I don’t know how I last so long without it. We do what we have to! LOL
