Hydrating and Exfoliating Body Washes from SoftsoapWhen body washes first hit the retail marketplace I was overly excited about it. Over the years I got tired of messy bar soaps that did nothing but dry out my sensitive skin. With that said, I quickly learned that not all body washes were created equally. Some are too harsh for my skin and others made my skin dry.

Recently I was sent two of the new SoftSoap body washes to try out for all of you and let me tell you…I was in pure heaven. You see, I work 10-12 hour days, 6-7 days a week. My day starts at 5 AM on most days and concludes very late at night. I treasure those 20-25 minutes of bath & shower time every day! That is MY TIME for JUST ME!

So, I got some of my favorite bath time tunes set up on my iPod and hopped into the shower with the SoftSoap Fresh & Glow Exfoliating Fruit Polish Body Wash in the orange and kiwi scent. It contains 100% real extracts, apricot seeds and is a great body wash to exfoliate your skin. I used it all over my entire body (excluding my face) and it was pure heaven!!! The entire “fragrant” experience took me right back to one of my favorite tropical islands, warm sunshine and those fruity cocktail drinks! Ahhh! It is a great way to start your day!

Now I will admit, about every other evening I like to relax in a nice hot bath when I have the time to do so. For my evening baths, I’ve been using the SoftSoap Fresh & Glow Hydrating Shower Cream with 100% real extracts of almond and coconut along with milk protein. This body wash feels super soothing on your skin…it is luxurious and gives you great skin hydration. In my opinion, it is a must-have body wash for those of you who have dry skin. My skin feels super silky after I bathe with this fantastic body wash.

I am curious…how many of you like to listen to music why showering or bathing? Come on, fess up! Some of my favorite groups to listen to are: Styx, Loverboy, Foreigner, Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers, Bon Jovi, Night Ranger and a few of the other classic 1980’s rock bands. I love listening to their “love ballads” when I am relaxing and unwinding from my day. What is on your playlist right now?

    No, I don’t listen to music while showering. I always shower after I workout or before bed so it’s a relaxing time for me.

    I used to have a waterproof speaker and would listen to the radio, however it has long since went to the electronics graveyard and I have yet to replace it. However, I would love to!

    I never listen to music in the shower although sometimes I provide my own :-). If I decide on a nice relaxing bath..it is usually accompanied by nice relaxing music…perhaps even classical.

    Interesting question – We used to have a shower radio but over the years there have been too many droughts and water conservation measures that have taken hold. We have a number of water saving devices in the house and no one lingers in the shower. Given the reduced time we shower, the more I appreciate products that work well.

    No I don’t listen to music in the shower. Its funny that this is the question, I was thinking about this the other day and I did listen to music in the shower when I was younger and I stopped and I’m not sure why.

    I do not listen to music when showering, after working 12 to 14 hours daily my shower time is plain, if I listened to music I would probably never get out of the shower, it would be tooooo relaxing, thanks
