How many of you are looking to get your bedroom organized this year? Are you trying to organize and get more space? If so, I’ve got some clever under-the-bed storage ideas to share with you today.

First off, we have 2 very small guest bedrooms and I am always looking to reclaim wasted space. One of those “wasted spaces” happens to be underneath the beds. I wanted to utilize this wasted space and turn it into valuable storage space.

I had an entire dresser filled to the brim with pajamas and lingerie. I decided to go through them and to store my seasonal sleepwear underneath the one guest bed. I freshly laundered every item and then carefully folded them. I then placed them in the fabulous Stor-n-Slide Under Bed Container from Organize-It.

I love that this container is see-through and made out of heavy duty plastic. It is slim designed and totally designed to slide underneath your bed. I can see exactly what is inside and I don’t have to bother labeling containers. Furthermore, it has two built-in locking handles which keeps the lid securely on the container. You can also use those handles for moving the container all around your home.

You can really fit a lot of items in that container (more than you think) and everything is kept odor-free, dust-free and bug-free underneath your bed. If storing things there isn’t your cup of tea…you can also use this container in other parts of your home like the attic, basement or garage.

As a travel blogger, I do quite a bit of traveling. Every time we hit the road for a travel gig I like to take along our own pillows, throw blanket, neck pillow and several other items. I needed a way to store these items at home but I needed this storage to be portable. That way when we are traveling, I can just grab and go. This storage box is designed for underneath the bed but could be used all over your home. I was able to cram all of our traveling linens and supplies into the storage box with ease. I keep everything it and stored underneath one of our guest beds until we are ready to hit the road again. We can place it in the trunk of our car, on the backseat or take it along with us in the camper. It is awesome & we love it!

    I visited the Organize It site and they have so many great items. One item that stood out that I would love to have in my home is the Roll-Out Tray Divider and Storage Rack – 9 Inch for my bottom cabinets. This would make organizing my casserole dishes so much easier.

    Wow–they have a lot of cool things beyond storage and organization products. I found a Cast Iron Bread Pan, which is something I’ve never seen before but which I would love to try. I imagine that breads would bake beautifully in cast iron, and would come out with a nice crust.
