Weight Watchers New Complete Cookbook

January 22, 2015 by Classystaff

If you are like me, weight loss is always a struggle. It is something that I have to continually work on day in and day out. But on some days it is harder. Where I live it can be too hot to workout or even too cold. Motivation is tough on some days and then bursts of energy come through and you cannot seem to burn it off! LOL We are constantly changing. Winter is a classic tough time to stay motivated for our healthier living goals.

Weight Watchers New Complete Cookbook

Many of us have fallen victim to the wrath of winter and already have let our cold weather blues bust our goals for the New Year. The first ever Blue Monday – January 24, 2005 – was established as a marketing idea for a travel company to boost sales during the winter. Psychologist Cliff Arnall produced a formula based on factors such as weather conditions, debt level, time since Christmas, time since giving up on our New Year’s resolutions, low motivational levels and feeling of a need to take action. Some argue that there’s no such thing, but there’s no doubt that this is a tough time of year and – this year’s Blue Monday – January 26, 2015 – is a great time to talk about the things that get us down and how to get back on track.

If you are among the millions who started 2015 with a goal to be healthier, Dr. Gary Foster, Chief Scientific Officer at Weight Watchers, can help you beat your cold weather blues so you can achieve your winter goals. In the video below, Dr.Foster will discuss:

* How your mood affects your commitment to winter goals
* The reasons why your brain gravitates towards food for comfort
* Tips to keep you on track for your winter goals
* And more!

If you need a kick start for healthier goals, be it eating right or even motivation to do your daily walk, Weight Watchers is a great program. I have been successful in the past with them and have been thinking about using them again to stay on track. I love their easy program!

    Keeping your environment healthier, if you don’t see the high fat items, you are less likely to grab them. If you see healthier choices, you are likely to grab the fruits instead of the chocolate. Works for me. Thanks.
