It has been several months since we have had our ocean image fix and I am dying for a getaway. So I thought today would be the perfect day to enjoy some bright blue skies and virtually listen to the sound of the crashing waves.
This was taken at the Monterey Bay, just up the road from the Aquarium back in November. We found a lovely seaside sitting area by the walking trail and enjoyed the ocean and the cool breezes. You can almost smell the air!
There is nothing lot,compare to the smell of the ocean and pine. I wish I was there right now. This is another beautiful photo.
Ahh the ocean.. to this Midwestener the ocean is the most beautiful thing! I also love the Gulf of Mexico. Right now, any beach with some sunshine will do!
That is beautiful! I really want to see the Pacific myself some day. So far, I’ve seen the Atlantic, but haven’t been west of the Mississippi!

California is so beautiful. I have only been their once in my life and I loved it. I got to see San Diego and Los Angelas and I had a blast going to the beaches and seeing the sites!
So beautiful! So peaceful! So perfect! You can almost smell the air and feel the ocean breeze on your face. I know I am glad for the beach fix…even if it is just with a photo. Thanks and have fun!
I am enjoying the temperature climb again and look forward to the normal mid 70s this week since I never use my heat here in the valley. I just bundle up and it dipped to about 59 inside a few weeks ago. My sister thinks I’m crazy but it saves my dry eyes and money too I suppose! The ocean looks lovely as usual.
Haven’t seen the ocean in years. Have my mountains which I love, but would like to see the ocean again.

Ah, the Pacific Ocean! I was in California once – San Diego/La Jolla – and the ocean was just stunning there! I live in NYC, so my beach expereice has always been in the Atlantic Ocean. I loved to see people surfing (I’ve never seen that in NY). But the strangest part to me was facing north, and having the ocean on my left instead of on my right. It almost felt like being on another planet!!!
