A month or so ago, we were excited to introduce you to a cool concept in children’s bikes. The Zum Zum balance bike is a wooden bike with no pedals that uses just the childs feet to propel the bike. The wooden suspension makes it a comfortable ride that can be used on the smooth road or bumpy terrain with comfort. You can see the full post we did in December at the link above.
The ZumZum is about ready for main stream production and is coming out of Kickstarter mode on Feb 7. Consisting of only three parts this bike is simple, light and easy to maintain. The bike grows with your child and can be adjusted to the needed size. They are offering 2 different sizes currently:
Bike with 10″ wheels can be adjusted in height from 13″ to 14.5″ (33 cm to 37 cm)
Bike with 12″ wheels can be adjusted in height from 14″ to 15.5″ (36 cm to 40 cm)

It has no petals and is a great bike for kids because it grows with them. Also only has 3 parts. My nephew has one similar but is not made of wood
