Be Inspired: In the Garden of Happiness by Dodinsky

January 19, 2015 by Classystaff

I have reading motivational and inspirational books for years. I enjoy starting and ending my day with a beautiful thought or lesson that can make a difference in my life and hopefully, in turn, in others. Overall, I am a pretty positive person but some days a lift up is exactly what I need. I was thrilled to be a sent a book for review that fulfills that lift up I need every so often.

I am excited to share with you a beautiful book that is filled with beautiful thoughts and words of motivation. From Dodinsky, In the Garden of Happiness is a hardback book that is small enough to sit by the bedside or your favorite chair and big enough to pack an inspirational punch.

New York Times Bestselling Author Empowers Readers to Be Inspired, Strong, and Happy

In the follow-up to his New York Times bestselling debut, In the Garden of Thoughts, inspirational author Dodinsky aims to uplift readers’ hearts and souls with his second book, In the Garden of Happiness.

As an emerging leader in positive thinking, Dodinsky weaves words of contentment and self-empowerment in In The Garden of Happiness, and gives readers the wisdom and support to find power within themselves to lead a happy life.

“When life is tough and seems overwhelming, it is my ardent hope the simple reminders in this book will help center your thoughts and lift up your spirit,” Dodinsky said.

When Dodinsky started posting his thoughts online as a way of coping with the blows life had dealt him, little did he know he was also building a sanctuary for weathered travelers across the globe seeking upliftment and inner-strength sustenance.

Dodinsky was deeply humbled when he realized that his ruminations on life became a gift to readers. Appreciative emails from people from all walks of life flooded in, saying he inspired them to look deeper within themselves for the answers to their own happiness and self-worth.

Dodinsky’s Facebook page has become a community where nearly 275,000 people share their own stories.

My Thoughts: This charming book is a delight in many ways. It is not big on words but the words pack a powerful kick. Each page is accompanied lovely artwork that enhances the meaning of the message. This is a wonderful gift not only for yourself on a daily basis, but may be perfect for a teen that is struggling or a friend going through a tough time.

I have been studying one page a day and while the message may seem easy at first, trying to follow and changing as needed is what becomes the challenge. These beautiful messages speak of a joyful life, full of happiness and love. That is something that we have to choose to become and offer to others. This book can help bring you that feeling of hope and joy. I love that.

Simplicity is sometimes hard to find but this book is simplicity in action.

Dodinsky has been a wonderful source of light and inspiration to me. I’m battling with clinical depression, as well as other illnesses, and this wonderful person brings happiness everyday when I visit Facebook or re-read “In the Garden of Thoughts”.

Dodinsky has such inspirational & uplifting quotes~I have a friend in dire need of uplifting! All 4 of her young adult daughters were recently diagnosed with the same genetic disease she was also found to have & was the carrier of this gene! Would love to bring her these quotes in book form to look at whenever she feels the need.I have been her ‘support’ through all this, she doesn’t want to overburden her hubby since he also is dealing with a genetic disorder that he passed on to one of the daughters~so much all within the last 3 yrs! I send her dodinsky facebook quotes several times a week~this book would be perfect! We had recently ‘found’ each other on facebook(4yrs ago)after 39yrs(gradeschool friends) ~meant to be~just when her world came crashing down. She calls me for what she calls her ‘pep talks’! I battled breast cancer for 5 yrs and remained strong & positive throughout & she apparently admires this in me!

I receive Dodinsky quotes each day, They are shared with family and friends in hopes that they are inspired by them as much as I am. They are such ‘uplifters” for me and truly give me some “pep in my step” to start each day. I am currently home with medical issues which I feel blessed to be to take care of me. My medical issues will NOT take over my life! My husband and I also care for my mother-in-law who has advanced Alzheimer’s. I have been looking at this book for awhile now and would love to have this in my hands to not only provide me with daily inspiration but to also have it to continue to share with friends, family, etc. I volunteer at the facility where my mother-in-law lives and it would be such a great reference for the staff and residents there. I visit there daily…….give or take one or two a week. This book would touch so many! Whether I receive this or not, please never stop sending out all the wonderful, thoughtful and profound quotes each day. It’s amazing how encouraging they can be!
