Hershey Sweet Lights in Pennsylvania

January 6, 2015 by Shelly

Hershey Sweet Lights in PennsylvaniaI know the holiday season is officially over now but I still wanted to share 2 photos with all of you for our weekly “Almost” Wordless Wednesday post. Every year my family gets together and we go down to Hershey in Pennsylvania and take the Hershey Sweet Lights Tour which features hundreds of holiday lights on display.

The tour costs $20.00 per car and you stay within the comfort of your warm car and drive through a course that they have set up with holiday light displays. It takes about 20-30 minutes to drive through it.

Since our country is going through some turbulent times right now, I thought the above holiday display had a lot of good meaning behind it. If we all celebrated our differences and respected one another, our world would be a much better & safer place!

Anyway, today I am sharing these 2 photos with all of you. If you ever get the chance to visit Hershey Sweet Lights in Pennsylvania, we highly recommend it. It is an annual family holiday tradition for us and we always look forward to it every year.

I would like to get to see this display. It would be very enjoyable and completely different from the light display at Longwood Gardens which is all trees and breathtaking

Another PA site I wished I had checked out. I don’t usually get back there in the winter so will enjoy the pics.

You’re correct, there is a lot of meaning behind the Celebrated Our Differences display. I will definitely have to visit the Hershey Sweet Lights in Pennsylvania some day. Thank you for sharing this post.

I have always wanted to go to Hersey, PA. Not just for the lights, but I bet I would try a piece of chocolate or two, or a hundred 🙂

We have something similar in KY. The Horse Park in Lexington, KY, has a lights tour. You can also get out of your car, if you want, to see other things: last year they had camel rides (I guess the camels were from the Nativity Scene, lol.)

Such a beautiful display. I am always amazed when I see how wonderful and magical places look when there are light displays.

That is not that much money to take a tour of the Holiday Lights at Hershey Penn. I would love to do this and take my family. We would have a thrill!

So beautiful and just makes you smile. Thanks for sharing. What a great family experience. Grab some hot chocolate and jump in the car for a wonderful light display.

The Denver Botanic Gardens has Blossoms of Light which is fun to see. They have over 1,000,000 lights on the trees and bushes. Lovely.
