Health and Wellness Products from FruitFast

January 15, 2015 by Shelly

FruitFast Wild Blueberry Juice and Dried BlueberriesBrownwood Acres – FruitFast is a family-owned company making all-natural products from select North American fruits since 1945. The company makes & sells all kinds of natural health and food products like concentrated juices, health supplements, liquid fruits, dried fruits, fruit bars, jarred fruits and they offer natural products for your pets too!

I suffer from various health problems and made a resolution to eat better and to take care of myself more than I usually do. I know one area of my diet that is always lacking is my fruit consumption. I don’t know why, I love fruit and I eat a lot of it but I know I don’t get the recommended daily amounts. If this sounds like you, read on.

The company sent me two full-size products to review for all of you and let me tell you, I am more than pleased with both!!! One of my favorites fruits in the entire world is blueberries because they taste good but they also offer you a lot of health benefits.

* Helps Maintain Healthy Brain Function

* Wild Blueberries Score an Amazingly Low 13 on the Glycemic Index

* Can be Stored in Your Freezer and Will Not Expand or Break

blueberry concentrate juice

I was sent a FruitFast Concentrated Wild Blueberry Juice to try for all of you. This is a concentrated juice and each quart bottle will give you 64 servings of juice. One tablespoon of Concentrated Pure Blueberry Juice is equal to the fruit juice from over 1 cup of fresh Blueberries. You can mix it up according to your own taste buds. I prefect 1 tablespoon of the blueberry juice concentrate mixed with 8 fl. oz. of Gingerale. My hubby likes 1 1/2 tablespoons mixed with very cold water.

This concentrated wild blueberry juice is absolutely fantastic! It isn’t like that sugar-loaded supermarket stuff at all. It is very flavorful and smooth. We’ve been enjoying one glass every morning right along with our breakfast. Delicious!

We also received a bag of the Dried Wild Blueberries to try out for you too. They are small dried blueberries that you can eat right from the bag, toss into your oatmeal or cereal, toss into your baking recipes and so much more!

banana blueberry muffins

I whipped up a batch of my favorite homemade banana blueberry muffins and used 1/2 cup of the dried wild blueberries in my recipe. You simply mix them right into your muffin batter. You can do the same when making bread too! Baked them as normal and once done…my family devoured them in rapid fashion. They were some of the best blueberry muffins I’ve ever made! We’ve also tossed them into our breakfast cereals, oatmeal, pancake & waffle batters too!

I love having this bag of dried wild blueberries in my kitchen pantry because they are there when I need them. I don’t have to keep running out to the store to buy blueberries in the produce aisle which are not very good to begin with! They are super easy-to-use and taste delicious!!!

Head on over to Brownwood Acres – FruitFast and take a look around. They have all kinds of cherry, blueberry, pomegranate, raspberry, cranberry and grape products. I highly recommend them! Top notch products and service!!!

They are a super food. Great in Fruit Soup, a good old Nordic tradition, and really good for you. The dried blueberries would also be great added to a trail mix. I love the fact they are not loaded with sugars, as most concentrates and dried fruits.

I havent heard of this particular company yet, but I have heard bllueberries are really good for you. I dont think the typical person gets enoug fruits or vegatables and those of us in cold climates really have to work at getting enough of those things. Winter time in particular when colds and now the flu is rampant makes it even more important.

I like all their different types of products. The majority of us – myself included- do not get enough fruits and they have great health benefits. The new year and flu season has me wanting to eat healthier, too. Thanks for they tip on these.

I like blueberries and usually add frozen ones to my smoothies. I’d like these blueberries for snacking.

The Fruit Fast products sound great, I’d love to try the FruitFast Concentrated Wild Blueberry Juice. I have had blueberries before but never blueberry juice, I can’t wait to give it a try. Thank you for sharing this review.

This concentrate is on my list after I finish my Cheribundi tart cherry juice. So good for you and a little bit gives you great benefits and helps those sugar cravings.

Yummy, this looks good. I love eating raw blueberries. They are a great anti-inflammatory too. I am like you, I have health problems and I too am focusing on getting healthier.
