A Beauty Must Have: 100% Organic Shea Butter

I received some organic, raw, unrefined shea butter from the Organic Shea Butter Company for review. I was so excited to get it! I’ve had products (shampoo, unfortunately processed) that have included shea butter. I did notice that the shea butter improved the product. Seeing that, it made me wonder what benefits the real natural shea butter would give me. I couldn’t wait to try it!
100% Organic Shea Butter
I was sent a 4 oz. jar of the raw, unrefined, organic shea butter. It smells great and is so smooth. I love the moisturized feeling it gives to my skin, not greasy at all like some lotions. Organic Shea Butter is 100% organic, all natural, chemical free. It has not been refined, bleached, or altered. There are no additives or parabens.

I first used it after a shower. It’s good to use from head to toe. I put it all over my arms and legs. My skin was noticeably softer even after several hours. I even used it as an aftershave from shaving my legs. It calmed down those ugly red bumps and they’re not itchy or irritated. It also recovered my very dry, rough feet.

I also used it on my hair after I toweldried it. My hair is also much softer. (My hair is usually very dry and coarse on the ends because I use a lot of heat products: straighteners and curlers). Split ends are less noticeable after several days use. Although, I realized that I didn’t need to use very much shea butter. My scalp over compensates in oils to try to keep my dry hair ends moisturized, so my roots can get very oily. So just a little shea butter went a long way!

There are so many uses for pure organic shea butter:
* Dry,rough skin
* Eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis
* Stretch marks, scars, wrinkles
* Razor bumps, blemishes
* Minor burns, sunburn, skin peeling
* Dry hair and scalp, hair breakage

The Organic Shea Butter comes in three convenient sizes, and all at decent prices. There is a 4 oz jar (hands and face use), an 8 oz jar (body and hair use) and a 12 oz jar (family size). I got rid of mine pretty quickly, so I’ll have to get the family size just for myself!
