Raising boys is a unique experience as I am sure many of you can attest to. I have been blessed to be able to spend most of my sons young life home with him. Watching him grow up and change into a young man has been wonderful. While part of me loves that he is becoming an adult, another part of me is screaming inside “NOOooo”! Being my one and only means I will have no one else to spoil. It is so unfair!
As a mom, I love sharing with my son what women love. He has been raised to be a kind and thoughtful man, very caring and genuine. The girls love him because he is NICE! He has more girls phone numbers in his phone than I do! Letting go is hard but he has to grow and spread his wings. Last month he drove down to Santa Barbara to spend the weekend with his friend that is a girl who goes to school there. (Notice I did not say girlfriend… they are on again/off again but still in each others hearts.) Oh God. I do not want to know what happened but I do know that he said it was the best weekend, Ever! Scary!
