All Natural Dish Soap from Eco-Me

December 26, 2014 by Shelly

All Natural Dish Soap from Eco-MeOver the past three years I have become increasingly concerned about the cleaning products that I use here in my home. This includes carpet cleaners, all-purpose cleaners, laundry and dish washing products too. I mean really, have you ever read the labels on those products? They are loaded with chemicals that are simply just not needed.

Up until recently I had been using the same old, same old liquid dish washing soap when I needed to hand wash dishes. Don’t ask me why…but I had never thought about looking into an all-natural dish soap until I was sent a bottle to review for all of you.

I received the Natural Plant Extracts Dish Soap from Eco-Me to try out and wow, I was impressed on day one! This dish soap cleans dirt, removes grease & grime and leaves your hands incredibly soft!

All of the Eco-Me products are all natural and safe, made with food grade & plant-based ingredients, plus they are cruelty free! There are no sulfates, no perfumes or dyes, no harsh preservatives and are rated #1 on Eco Scale by GreenSeal.org.

I decided to test it out on a few baking dishes that needed to be hand washed. I filled up my sink with warm water and as the water was running I added 2 squirts of the liquid dish soap. It really gave me some nice suds which I liked and on top of that, I really enjoyed the Lemon Fresh scent.

All of the items that I was hand washing had some burnt on, stuck on grease, barbecue sauce and other nasty things from when I made dinner. I was expecting to be scrubbing these baking dishes for 30 minutes or more but was pleasantly surprised that this liquid dish soap did the job and did it quickly. Within minutes the burnt on gunk and greasy mess was gone! I didn’t have to stand there for a long time scrubbing and rinsing to get my baking dishes clean!

To be honest, I think this liquid dish soap did a much better job than my traditional soap that is loaded with chemicals. Plus, after washing my dishes…my hands felt silky soft and smooth! What a nice bonus for sure! Just look at that photo…my glass baking dish came out squeaky clean! Yay!!!

I love that this all natural dish soap not only did a better job of washing the dishes but also made your hands feel silky smooth. I am slowly trying to use more natural cleaning products so I shall have to look into the Eco Me line of products

I like the idea of using products with less chemicals. Helpful to know that it works as well or better.

I like the idea of this dish soap but have to admit I am one of those blue Dawn gaks. I buy that particular brand forr what they do for animals- irds in particular after oil spills plus they donate to the wildlife fund.
I do all my dishes by hand as I dont have a dishwasher, and I do llike the idea of softer hands though!

I watch what kind of cleaning products I use, too. This looks like a very good choice.
