I love to cook but my real passion is for baking. Matter of fact, if I had the time…I would spend a few hours a day in my kitchen baking up tasty treats for my family to enjoy. I love baking brownies, pies, cakes, cupcakes, tortes, cobblers and of course…homemade cookies!
Recently I was sent the Silicone Non-Stick Baking Sheet from LexLiving and in my opinion, this is a “must-have” item if you love to bake cookies! This silicone baking sheet measures 42×30 cm in size and is reusable, over and over again!
Once you have this baking sheet you will no longer have to grease or oil your baking sheets. That’s right…NO MORE! When it comes time to store it, just roll it up and place it into a drawer. It will not stain over time and it will not absorb stinky odors. Clean up is a snap and all you need to do is rinse it off with a little soap and water. It is dishwasher and microwave safe too!
I just got some new baking sheets and I want to keep them nice looking for as long as possible so I have been lining them with my new reusable silicone baking sheet from LexLiving. To test out it’s non-stick properties I decided to bake a batch of peanut butter cookies. I did NOT grease the sheet and simply just put my cookie dough right on top of the baking mat.
I then baked my peanut butter cookies as I normally do and wow…I was immediately impressed! They slid right off of that baking mat and the bottoms of my cookies were perfectly browned and the centers perfectly done! When I was all done baking, I simply washed the mat in the sink with a little liquid soap and water. Looks just like new!
My cookies turned out beautifully! Moist, chewy and beautifully browned. Not a single one stuck to that sheet at all. I have been using this Non-Stick Silicone Baking Sheet non-stop since I have received it. At least a dozen times now since I am in the midst of baking holiday cookies for the family. It looks just as perfect today as it did on day one! Definitely a kitchen “must-have” in my book!

I’ve thought about getting one so good to know they work so well. How wonderful for all the holiday baking. There are so many delicious recipes we want to try, and this would make prep and clean up easier.
The few silicone items I have, I love, so I should invest in a silicone baking sheet too. This one looks great.

I do a lot of cookie baking this time of year and hate when the bottoms are not perfectly browned so these sheets look like a good find for me.
I have one SilPat (it fits my half-sheet pan perfectly!) and a couple of silicone mats from another brand, and I love them. I use them for kneading bread and rolling pastry in addition to baking. I’m not familiar with the LexLiving brand, so I checked out their website. I saw a couple of things I’d be interested in, but they don’t seem to sell anything in the USA. Probably just as well, though; it’s not like I really need another kitchen toy. 🙂
These do look great. I hate it when cookies burn on the bottom & yet aren’t quite done on top, so I need these, lol.
I got two of these 6 months ago and love them! Everything slides right off and they clean up so easily.
