Over the past year I have introduced you to several of the fine chocolates that Ethel M has to offer and today I am back again to talk about their delicious gourmet candy bars! That’s right, once you try these, you won’t be buying the ones at the checkout line at the grocery store!
While I love all of the Ethel M Chocolates that I have reviewed before…these candy bars are one of my favorites so far. Why you might ask? Well, because they are totally portable! I can pack one in my handbag, lunch bag, briefcase or whatever and take them along with me throughout my day.
For the review I got 3 full-size chocolate bars: (1) Milk Chocolate, (1) White Chocolate and (1) Dark Chocolate. They come nicely boxed and are officially called the Ethel M Chocolates Chocolate Bar Set. So yes, you can buy them and give them as gifts too! Each bar is 1.38 oz. in size.
I am a chocolate diva and I immediately broke into that milk chocolate bar since that happens to be my favorite. Oh my gosh…it was heaven in every bite! Very smooth, rich and it just melted in your mouth! My husband is a dark chocolate fan and he ran off with the dark chocolate bar. When I say “ran off” he literally did! I found the wrapper later that night (empty) in his man cave. He told me that it was one of the BEST dark chocolate bars he has had in years. Wow! Too bad he didn’t let me sample it! Boo!
A few days later we decided to share the final bar which was the white chocolate bar. I love white chocolate but I am picky about it. I like it sweet but not overly sweet. Sometimes white chocolate can be too sweet and too bitter if it’s not done right. Well, I am here to tell you that this is one fabulous chocolate bar! Just perfect in my opinion!

Your reviews of Ethel M chocolates were the first time I heard about this chocolate. I shall have to try them soon because I love chocolate and especially good chocolate. I like that these bars are easily placed in a handbag for later consumption – if they last that long.
