One of my very favorite things to shop for during the holiday season happens to be gourmet foodie gifts for my friends and family. Let’s face it, everyone loves receiving something delicious to eat!

The Wisconsin Cheeseman has all kinds of great holiday gifts and one of the things I love is that they will ship your gift directly to the gift-recipient! That’s right, you pay the bill and your loved one gets the gift shipped right to their doorstep! You don’t have to fight for a parking space at the mall, stand in long lines, bring the gift home & wrap it and then stand in line again to ship it. One-stop shopping at it’s best!

For my review The Wisconsin Cheeseman sent me their Boneless Ham and Cheddar Cheese gift set to review for all of you. We decided to make the boneless ham for Thanksgiving and it was absolutely delicious! All of our dinner guests devoured it in rapid fashion!

The set comes with a fully cooked 3 lb. boneless ham and a 2 lb. block of sharp cheddar cheese. It comes with complete cooking instructions and you can serve as-is or add your own ham glaze like we did. I love that it was pre-cut, boneless and saved me hours of time in the kitchen!

The sharp cheddar cheese block was fabulous too! We sliced up that cheese the day after thanksgiving and enjoyed it with our leftover ham or turkey sandwiches. Yes, we serve BOTH turkey and a ham every year at Thanksgiving. The cheese had a very nice flavor and texture to it and was great all on it’s own or paired up in our leftover sandwiches.

Everything arrived to my home nicely packaged and as fresh as could be. I was really impressed at how quickly it got here. Definitely nice to know if you are sending a gift to a loved one who doesn’t live nearby. I think this is an absolute fantastic gift-to-give!

    I myself, am Cheese Woman! Oh yes, I am one of those who really really LOVE cheese. It is a natural thing to do so, for cheese is an ancient food, yes? I hate milk! Just hate it, but cheese? that is the way adults get their “milk”! I would get some of their Emmentaler first off. Then, Havarti! O How I love Havariti. Look at that German Style Brick cheese! Love to try it.
