During the late Fall and Winter seasons my skin gets very dry. Ladies, you know what I mean…our skin gets dry, itchy, flaky and scaly. A lot of that has to do with environmental factors and with us being cooped up indoors. Sound familiar? Read on.
Recently I was introduced to the All Good Organic Coconut Oil from Elemental Herbs and have been experiencing great results! The company sells everyday-use products ranging from tinted lip balms to body lotions and all are made from organic healing herbs and oils.
This luxurious deep conditioner made from food-grade organic coconut oil enhanced simply with fragrant essential oils performs as a massage oil, scalp treatment, after-shower body rub and so much more. The sumptuous skin-soother brings big moisture without being greasy, and is offered in its pure state and in lavender and lemongrass varieties. The one I received is the pure coconut which smells heavenly.
It is packaged in a glass jar and is a semi-solid consistency. Just pop off the lid, rub it onto the palms of your hands to warm it up and then apply it to your skin by gently massaging it in. It is absorbed super quickly and leaves behind no sticky or oily residue. It has a very clean light coconut fragrance to it. Nothing stinky or over-powering at all.
Since receiving the product I have been applying it to the my knees, elbows and the bottom of my feet every day after I get out of the shower. In just 3-4 days I noticed that my feet were looking 40 to 50% better. Looking more moisturized, no more itching or flaking and my skin seemed to be looking more healthy too. Remarkable!!! Matter of fact, my hands are loving it and are getting smoother & softer too!
I am going to tell you all a little secret…shhhh…don’t tell Mr. Hubby. Anyway, I have caught him using my new Organic Coconut Oil and applying it to his knees and elbows too. Oh yeah, he admitted it when I caught him and he said he likes that it doesn’t smell like a “girl” product and that men can use it too. Now shhhh, he will get mad if I tell ya! LOL
