My Thoughts: Teaching old muscles how to move in new ways is fun! I have always wanted to check out a belly dance class but felt very self conscious and would never do it. Now I don’t have to worry about with this new DVD.
This workout is created in three different sections. The first part walks you through the moves. Jacqui Lalita has been teaching belly dance for years and she is walks you through the movements with clear direction. It is easy to follow and it is a good warm up too!
The second part is fast paced with beautiful music that gives you a great workout. The movements are traditional and while it does take some getting used to moving those hips and belly muscles in ways you never thought you could, you can really feel the movements. \
I love the third part the most. This section offers soft and easy moves that you will enjoy. I really did. It felt good to be moving my body and activating some of those muscles that have been long dormant. You can really feel the core engagement and after a few sessions, I could feel the flexibility start to improve.
