My hubby and I don’t get out and travel as much as we used to. With a kid in college, my work and his disability, it is getting tougher to get away. We both love to travel and we have a lot of places we want to see, so this coming year we plan on taking more time to try and see some new places. We were excited to be able to visit Carmel, California a few weeks ago for a nice weekend. It is on the coast, about 2 hours south of San Francisco and it is a fabulous place to visit and live. We had a really nice time.
One of the things I love about the west coast is the amazing sunsets. It had rained the day this picture was shot and I knew the sunset was going to be amazing and I was not wrong. Enjoy!

Although I live in a beautiful setting, one thing we don’t have is a good view of the sunset. And I miss it! There’s something calming about taking time to watch the sun go down, and your picture captures that feeling perfectly. Thank you.
We get some nice sunsets here in Colorado, but not with those beautiful trees.
Beautiful sunset and I love Carmel but haven’t been there in years.
I drove through that area in July. It is absolutely gorgeous!
Such a beautiful photo. I love the sense of peace and tranquility that it evokes.
What a beautiful sunset. Thank you for sharing.
Sunsets in southeast Texas are a quick event, more like somone switching the lights off.
This is a beautiful sunset with all the different golden and umber hues. Sometimes it can be very hard to travel, but we are going to try to do more too.
It’s still raining here in L.A. but I’ll take the calm sunset to sooth my nerves. My internet was down for 18 hours so I needed to calm down. A tech was able to come and fix it yesterday and they upgraded my speed with a plan that is $5 cheaper. Yay! Things are looking up and I’m seeing the calm after the storm, lol. Enjoying the free car washes from Mother Nature too, after a long drought.
What a gorgeous sunset. I love the Sunsets in the Summer time, and California has some of the best Sunsets. Love this picture!
