7UP Sparkling Cranberry Spritzer Recipe

Holidays cry out for easy recipes for fun holiday entertaining. I know when family and friends come by, spending too much time in the kitchen preparing food and beverages is not what I want to be doing. Enjoying great company and spending time with loved ones is what the holidays are all about. So I look for easy recipes for beverages that I can make up in bulk or quickly by the glass. 7UP is a staple in my home because of the easy mixing capibilities and the 100% natural ingredients.  Its fresh and clean flavor never overpowers so it is perfect for creating delicious beverage recipes.

I wanted to enjoy a tasty cocktail the other night when my friends dropped by and with just a few simple ingredients I got at Safeway, I had a festive beverage in a flash. Here is how easy it was to mix this drink

7UP Sparkling Cranberry Spritzer Recipe

Start with some ice and add in some cranberry juice and a favorite wine.

Top with 7UP and some cranberries for a festive and classic light cocktail.  Easy! Here is the recipe.

Sparkling Cranberry Spritzer Recipe

7UP lemon-lime soda
2 oz. Cranberry juice
2 oz. White Wine
Cranberries
Ice

Directions:

By the glass – Add ice to your glass, add in your favorite wine, cranberry juice and finish off with 7UP. Top with cranberries for a festive touch.

Sparkling Cranberry Spritzer with 7UP

A classic, super simple drink that you can make it by the pitcher for larger crowds. This is a light refreshing taste that you can make non-alcoholic too. Instead of wine, add in orange juice or just increase the amount of juice to 7UP ratio. Yum!  I love that it is not too sweet of a drink. Perfect for me and my friends!

During the holidays, Safeway is a favorite store of mine. I love all of the awesome specialty foods and staples that I can get there, like my classic holiday mixer, 7UP.  They always have everything I need which is great when time is at a premium. If you have a Safeway or Vons in your neck of the woods, stop by and get your holiday beverage mixers and other treats youenjoy for entertaining.

Sounds wonderful and looks like a perfect holiday drink! And it dilutes the wine so you can enjoy more than one without worrying about driving home!

I love cranberries and the juice too. Currently I’m working on a case of Cheribundi tart cherry juice. Whew is it tart but good for you. Must pick up some cranberries and this reminded me!
