During the cold season…nothing warms me up like a good bowl of hot soup and a freshly made grilled sandwich. For me…soup and sandwiches go hand-in-hand. Usually when I have tomato soup, you will find a grilled cheese sandwich right alongside it.

I tried it and it was really good. I had one bowl with a little cumin in it and that was a pretty good addition.
This looks and sounds delicious. Thank you for sharing. I love tomato soup.
THis is a great recipe for the cold weather that is coming. I have not yet tried cooking hominy in different recipes and this could be a great opportunity for me.
this sounds wonderful! I’ve been looking for tomato soups that aren’t cream based, and there aren’t that many that sound good. This is perfect, and I love the idea of adding hominy!
This sounds amazing I love tomatoes and this is one recipe I am going to have to try this Winter I also love cilantro.
This soup looks delicious, and it’s great to have some hot soup to keep you warm on a cold winter day/night. Thank you for sharing this recipe.
What great flavors in this soup. For some reason I don’t like hominy so I’d replace it with garbanzo beans.
