Berkshire Blanket is a company that sells luxury throws, bed blankets, bed sheets, throw pillows and all of those other necessity items we need for our homes. The company has been in business since 1993 and is based out of the great state of Massachusetts.

I am going to admit right up front…I am a HUGE fan of this company. I have been buying their products for myself and as gifts for the past few years. I have loved everything I have received including this next item that I am going to tell you about today.

For the review I received the VelvetLoft Plush Luxury Spa Robe to review for all of you. This is a medium-weight robe so it can be worn year round. I am 5 foot 6″ tall so it is a 3/4 length robe on me with long sleeves. They are generous and if you need to cuff them back, you can.

This robe is the SOFTEST robe I have ever felt against my body. If I had to describe the “hand” to the fabric it would be…softer than a baby’s butt! It feels so nice against your skin that you will find yourself rubbing your hands over it…just feels good!

I love that this robe has 2 deep pockets on the front because I tend to run around the house with my cellphone & a tissues. I can easily tuck those into the pockets with ease. There are belt loops around the waist for the self-tie belt. You will see my mother modeling it for all of us and it is a tad big on her since she is smaller than me.

Last year for the holiday season I actually purchased eight of their plush blankets and gave those away as holiday gifts. Now that they have these new VelvetLoft Plush Robes…I am thinking about picking up a few of those for gifts this year. They are absolutely FANTASTIC and any gal on your gift-giving list would fall in-love with it if she received it.

    I really like the cozy all over throw with foot pockets. That would solve my problem of trying to get wrapped up in my blanket on the couch.

    Berkshire flannel quilt and sham set would look very nice in my bedroom. Flannel sheets are so nice this time of year especially when it is freezing outside.

    I’d love to try out the VelvetLoft Grey Wedge Pillow! Trying to finish law school while managing a chronic illness means a lot of studying in bed. I have gone through a gazillion pillows that are supposedly made for sitting in bed, but I’m yet to find one that’s “just right.” I’m starting to think no such pillow exists! However, this memory foam wedge looks pretty promising. . . especially if combined with the Serasoft Neckroll Pillow!
