Create Your Own Photo Pendants

PendantLab is a company in the Czech Republic where you can create your own pendants right on their web page from pictures you upload from your computer or Facebook. Their web page is very user friendly; you just go to PendantLab and follow the directions.

First you need to choose the picture you want to use from your computer or Facebook and upload it. Next you need to decide what shape you want your pendant to be. There are eight shapes to choose from: heart, star, teardrop, circle, oval, square, diamond and egg. Each shape is priced differently, running from $8.95 to $19.95 and you can check the price of your shape by clicking on Help on the top right side of the web page. Once you have chosen your shape, you can use the tools along the sides to make the picture smaller or larger, rotate it and choose a background if your picture does not fill the entire shape. Once you are happy with your creation, click “create” and you will see a picture of what your pendant will look like.

The company recommends registering with an e-mail address and password. This way you can create as many pendants as you like, exit out of the web page and go back onto the web page at a later date and look at the pendants you have created and the pendants will only be visible by you.

The picture in your pendant will be sealed between a platinum-colored brass setting and glass. Each pendant is handmade and may be slightly different than the example pictured on the web page. The pendants are water resistant but are not waterproof so it is not recommended that you let your pendant come in contact with moisture. Each pendant comes with a 14-Day Money Back Guarantee. They only ask that you contact the company before returning any item.

The pendants do not come with a chain, but you can order a snake chain to go with your pendant separately. The snake chains come in brass platinum colored for $5.00 or sterling silver for $19.90 and come in lengths of 16 inches, 18 inches, 20 inches and 24 inches.

If you do not have a picture that you want to put into a pendant, you can review the collections they have created by clicking on Collections. The list of Collections includes Space, Autumn Illusions, Halloween, Easter Eggs, Dragon and Colors of Love. In the Dragon collection you can purchase a dragon eye pendant in green, blue, red, light blue, purple and light green. This is a very interesting and striking pendant that would certainly be a conversation piece!!

I ordered my two pendants on November 4th, they shipped them on November 6th and I had a notice to pick them up from the Post Office on November 12th. Packages from PendantLab.com with a value of less than $200 (US currency) will not require any duty charges.

I was asked to create a heart shaped pendant and an egg shaped pendant. I was very pleased with both pendants that I created. Both were a nice weight and size and appear to be very well made. The pictures I chose for each pendant were clear and easy to see. Each pendant came in a little plastic zippered bag and a small holiday designed drawstring bag was included with each pendant for gifting purposes.
