We would like to take the time out this morning to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! It is a day for all of us to be thankful for the things that we have and the people who are in our lives. It is a day to reflect on it all and to spend time with our families.
Today I am very thankful for the family that is still here with us. With that said, it is also a very sad day for me as it will be our first Thanksgiving without my beloved Auntie. Every year (for many years) we always spent Thanksgiving together.
How will you be spending the holiday? Are you going out for dinner or having dinner at your home? Do you have any guests coming over? Anything fun or exciting going on?
After dinner we will be enjoying some football and some scrapbooking! The guys hit the family room and the girls head into my craft room. I am looking forward to spending time with everyone later today and eating some good food!

Here in Downeast Maine, we had a big snowstorm overnight and the power went out–I had visions of peanut butter sandwiches instead of a turkey dinner! Luckily, the power came back on in the morning, so we’ll be having our turkey as planned. Just the two of us, but a full Thanksgiving dinner with all the sides. The house smells great right now!
